Fourteen Day Approach being an AB PARENT
AB-Corner has found a new approach for potential moms and dads to learn how to take care of AB's. Now don't get us wrong, we think this program is great for newbie's who want to adopt their own AB child. If your already a parent of an AB, you may find our method is something you might not agree with. Now in the mind of AB-Corner, the best way to go thought the Fourteen Day Approach is to become a baby.
For the first week, we think that a newbie parent should go though basic regression and should feel what it like to be a baby (full time if possible). Now this will allow you to experience what it is to be a baby. But in second week we believe that you should move up to the age of 3 - 4 years old and wear pullups to get the true outlook.
In the first week you will be expected to wear regular tape diapers for a mimium of 7 days. Plan accordingly when you purchase your diapers because, if you buy 36 diapers and on day 7 you have used only 30, you will still need to use them all til they are gone. But do not just think you can buy one pack of diapers and be done. You must buy enough diapers to make it 7 full days.
In the second week of the program you will upgrade your diaper status from tapes, to pullup diapers! Again another 7+ fun days, and you must wear them until they are gone.
This program has been tested on one of our own so we could see how it works and how effective it is. We found that it is a good teaching method for a new parent to learn what it takes to be a parent. We approve this method. To be a good parent we feel that you should not waste any diapers, and that you must try wearing them to know how your AB feels, and what they experience.
